Rapid Care consultations are short, focused clinical reviews. A patient's request arrives with the relevant information already on screen; you validate it — the right patient, the right medicine for the right purpose, the correct dose and instructions — and issue the prescription. Each case takes around two minutes, and during peak hours a doctor typically handles 15–20 cases an hour. You can choose between Full Care and Rapid Care consultations, depending on your preference and availability.
Key responsibilities
- Review each Rapid Care request and the clinical information provided with it.
- Confirm the medicine is appropriate for the patient and the stated purpose, and check dosage and instructions.
- Issue clear e-prescriptions in line with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 and NMC regulations.
- Decline or escalate requests that are not clinically appropriate, and refer for a full consultation when needed.
- Maintain accurate notes on the platform for every case.
- Keep patient information confidential and follow the platform's clinical and data-privacy protocols.
- Log in on time for committed slots.
Eligibility and qualifications
- MBBS from a recognised institution. Doctors with a postgraduate qualification are equally eligible.
- Active registration with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council.
- Completed the NMC online telemedicine training module, or willing to complete it before onboarding.
- A Healthcare Professionals Registry (HPR) ID. Mandatory; created on the Government of India's ABDM platform.
- Comfortable working in English and Hindi. Other Indian languages are a plus.
- A laptop with a webcam and good internet bandwidth, and a quiet, private space to work from.

❓ What is the HPR ID, and how do I get it?
Your Healthcare Professional ID from the Government of India's National Health Professionals Registry (NHPR), under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Any registered doctor can create one free, online, with Aadhaar.
What to upload (PDF)
- Already have it: the e-signed declaration PDF from the NHPR portal, showing your Healthcare Professional ID Number.
- Just applied: the e-signed declaration you get at the end. It is fine if the ID number is still blank while NHPR verifies you (“Verification Pending”).
Not this: A “Digital Health Facility” certificate is a hospital or clinic's registration (HFR), not your personal HPR ID. And a file called “espResponse.pdf” is an empty reply from the e-sign step — open your NHPR profile and download the e-signed declaration itself.
Example (details blurred) — tap to openBefore you start, keep ready: your Aadhaar number and the mobile linked to it, your medical council registration certificate and your MBBS degree certificate.
